Bangladesh Agricultural University

Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) is a public university located in Mymensingh, Bangladesh. It was established in 1961 and is the first agricultural university in Bangladesh. The university has 44 departments offering undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in agriculture, food science and technology, fisheries, and forestry. BAU also has a number of research institutes and centers, including the Bangladesh Institute of Nuclear Agriculture (BINA) and the Bangladesh Fisheries Research Institute (BFRI).

The university has a total of 12,000 students, including 8,000 undergraduate students, 3,000 postgraduate students, and 1,000 doctoral students. The student body is made up of students from all over Bangladesh, as well as a small number of international students.
