Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) is a public university located in Mymensingh, Bangladesh. It was established in 1961 and is the first agricultural university in Bangladesh. The university has 44 departments offering undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in agriculture, food science and technology, fisheries, and forestry. BAU also has a number of research institutes and centers, including the Bangladesh Institute of Nuclear Agriculture (BINA) and the Bangladesh Fisheries Research Institute (BFRI).
