The PGDHRM program at UIU is a 1-year, part-time program that prepares students for a career in human resource management. The program covers a wide range of topics, including:
- Human resource planning and staffing
- Compensation and benefits
- Training and development
- Performance management
- Labor relations
- Employee relations
- Occupational health and safety
- Strategic human resource management
In addition to classroom lectures and discussions, the program also includes a number of experiential learning opportunities, such as case studies and simulations. This helps students to apply their theoretical knowledge to real-world situations.
Upon completion of the program, students will be eligible to apply for the Human Resource Management Professional (HRMP) certification. This is a globally recognized certification that demonstrates a professional's competence in human resource management.
The program is open to graduates of any discipline with a minimum GPA of 2.5.
