Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College (ShSMC) is a public medical college and hospital located in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It is the 14th government medical college in the country and was established in 2006. ShSMC is affiliated with the University of Dhaka and offers MBBS and BDS degrees.
The college has a unique architectural campus and an excellent academic atmosphere. It is situated in the north-western part of Dhaka beside the National Parliament House. ShSMC has a total of 500 students, with 250 in each batch of MBBS and BDS.
The college has a well-equipped hospital with over 1000 beds. The hospital provides a wide range of medical and surgical services to the people of Dhaka and other parts of the country. ShSMC is also a major center for medical research and education.
