University of Rajshahi

The University of Rajshahi (RU) is a public research university located in Motihar, Rajshahi, Bangladesh. It is the second oldest university in Bangladesh, and was founded on March 31, 1953. The university has a student body of over 38,000 students, and offers undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate programs in a wide range of subjects. 

RU is a leading research university in Bangladesh, and has produced many notable alumni, including politicians, scientists, and artists. The university is also home to a number of research institutes and centers, including the Institute of Social Welfare and Planning, the Institute of Education, and the Institute of Applied Physics.
