North South University [NSU]

North South University (NSU) is a private research university in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It was established in 1992 by the Foundation for Promotion of Education and Research, a charitable, non-profit, non-commercial and non-political organization. NSU is the first private university in Bangladesh and has been consistently ranked as the top private university in the country.

NSU offers undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs in a variety of disciplines, including engineering, business, computer science, law, and medicine. The university has a strong focus on research and has produced over 1,000 PhD graduates. NSU is also home to a number of research centers and institutes, including the Center for Excellence in Information Technology, the Center for Business Research, and the Center for Health Sciences.

NSU is a member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities and the Association of Southeast Asian Institutions of Higher Learning. The university has also been accredited by the National University of Singapore and the University of London.
