Khulna Polytechnic Institute (KPI) is a government-owned polytechnic located in Khulna, Bangladesh. It is one of the biggest and oldest polytechnics in the country. KPI was established in 1972 with the assistance of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). The institute offers diploma courses in engineering and technology to students who have passed the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination.
The institute has a total of about 100 teachers and 4000 students. KPI is affiliated to the Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB).
