Gopalganj Polytechnic Institute

Gopalganj Polytechnic Institute (GPI) is a government-owned technical education institute in Bangladesh. It is located at Chandradighalia, Gopalganj, about 14 kilometers away from the main town. GPI was established in 1965 and is one of the oldest and most reputed polytechnic institutes in the country.

GPI offers 4-year (8 semester) Diploma-in-Engineering courses in the following disciplines:

• Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technology
• Computer Technology
• Food Technology
• Electronics Technology

GPI has a well-qualified and experienced faculty team, as well as well-equipped workshops and laboratories. The institute also has a strong placement record, with many of its graduates going on to successful careers in industry and government.

GPI is affiliated to the Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB) and follows the BTEB curriculum. The institute also offers a number of extracurricular activities for its students, including sports, cultural events, and technical competitions.
